English translation
English subtitles for videos in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and seven more.
Some videos have to reach people who don't speak the language in them: a Tamil cooking reel with followers in Delhi, a Marathi explainer sent to a client, a clip from a Hindi podcast posted for everyone. Subtitles in the speaker's own script do nothing for those viewers. An English translation does.
Translation here is its own transcription, not a second step run over a finished transcript. The audio goes to a speech-translation model that listens in the source language and writes English, and the result opens in the same editor as any other transcript, with every word yours to change.

Timing you can check and move
A translation comes back timed by phrase rather than by word, so AutoCap works out where each English word most likely falls and pulls those edges to the nearest pauses in the audio. English also orders a sentence differently, so drag any word that lands early or late.

Questions
Which languages can be translated into English subtitles?
Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. Urdu is transcribed in Urdu script only, and English speech is transcribed as English.
Can one video have subtitles in its own language and in English?
Yes, by transcribing it twice: once in its own script or romanised, once as an English translation. Each pass uses transcription minutes and gives its own subtitle file, so a platform that takes several tracks can carry both.
How accurate is the translation?
Treat it as a draft. The meaning usually survives; jokes, idioms, slang and names are where it slips. Every word is editable, and your edits carry into the exported video and subtitle files.
