Subtitle editor
A subtitle editor that starts with the words already timed.
Automatic subtitles are a first draft. The question is how long the second draft takes, and that comes down to the editor: whether fixing a word is one click or five, and whether a timing can be seen before it is changed.
AutoCap's editor is built around that second pass. The transcript and the video play side by side, every word is its own object with its own timing, and nothing you change spends transcription minutes again.
What you get
Words, not blocks of text
Click a word to retype it. Each one keeps its own start and end, so correcting a word never knocks the timing of the rest of the line.
A timeline you can see
Words sit on a timeline above the audio waveform. Drag an edge to move when a word appears, and split a line wherever the sentence breaks.
Emphasis and emoji, on the beat
Mark a keyword and the style gives it its own colour or motion. Emoji stickers sit on their own track, so you set exactly when each one appears and leaves.

Questions
Can I edit an SRT file I already have?
The editor works on transcripts it creates from your video's audio, not on uploaded subtitle files. Upload the video itself and you get a fresh, word-timed transcript to edit.
Do edits use up my transcription minutes?
No. Minutes are spent once, when the audio is transcribed. Every correction, restyle and re-export after that is free.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Edits can be undone one step at a time, and when you are signed in the project saves itself as you work.
