Questions
Do I still need Instagram's auto-captions?
No — the words are rendered into the video itself, so they show for every viewer regardless of their settings. You can still add Instagram's own captions on top if you want the accessibility text as well.
Will the captions be hidden behind the Reels interface?
The default placement keeps them inside a safe band clear of Instagram's overlays. If your composition needs them elsewhere, drag the block and fine-tune the position by percentage.
What aspect ratios can I export?
9:16 for Reels, plus 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 for the same clip — useful when one recording goes to Reels and YouTube in the same afternoon.
Does this work for Facebook Reels and WhatsApp Status too?
Yes. The export is an ordinary MP4 with the words drawn into the picture, so it posts to Facebook Reels, WhatsApp Status or YouTube Shorts like any other video, and the captions show whether or not that app has captions of its own.
