About
Built in India, for Indian creators.
Indian creators speak Hinglish — a fluid mix of Hindi and English that every college kid, auto driver and startup founder understands intuitively. Most transcription tools treat it as broken English.
Whisper and Google STT are excellent at what they do. But code-switching isn't something you retrofit onto an English-first model — the model has to have heard the language. So AutoCap runs on speech models trained on Indian languages and accents, and then hands you every word to edit before you export.
The whole product is one loop: upload a clip, fix anything the model got wrong, pick a style, export. No timeline to learn, no project management, no storage plans.
How it works
- 01
Upload a clip
Any MP4 or MOV. Pick the spoken language, or let the model identify it — it reports back what it actually heard, so you are never guessing.
- 02
Get timed words
Not a block of text. Every word arrives with its own start and end, so captions land on the beat instead of drifting apart by the last line.
- 03
Fix anything, pick a look
Edit any word, split a line, nudge a timing. Then choose from 32 caption styles and tune the colours, fonts and animation.
- 04
Export
Burn the captions into an MP4, or take SRT and VTT into Premiere, Resolve or YouTube.
What we hold to
Code-mixing is the default, not an edge case
Hinglish, Tanglish, Gujlish — real speech switches language mid-sentence. The recognisers here are trained on Indian speech, so a sentence that starts in Gujarati and lands on an English loanword comes back as one sentence rather than two guesses.
Your video never leaves your machine to be rendered
Only the audio is sent, and only to transcribe it. Burning the captions in happens in your own browser — which is also why exports are unlimited on every plan, including the free one.
You can always overrule the model
Every word is editable, every timing adjustable, every style tunable. Fixing a word costs nothing and never spends your transcription minutes a second time.
Priced in rupees, with no subscription trap
A monthly plan renews unless you say otherwise — at checkout, or later from your account, in one click. No card is stored against your account, your bank warns you before every payment, and one-time purchases never renew at all.
Languages supported
Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Indian English — 12 in total. Each can be captioned in its own script, romanised into Latin for Hinglish-style captions, or translated to English. Native-script captions can be set in any of 32 styles using typefaces drawn for that script, rather than whatever fallback the device happens to have.
