Open-source licences

AutoCap runs some open-source software in your browser. This is what it is, under what licence, and where its source code lives.
FFmpeg (ffmpeg.wasm)
- When your browser can't decode a video's format — for example an iPhone's HEVC video in Chrome on some computers, ProRes, WMV or AVI — AutoCap converts it on your device with FFmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly by the ffmpeg.wasm project. The video never leaves your device for this.
- FFmpeg core (@ffmpeg/core 0.12.10) is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. It is served unmodified. Source code: ffmpeg.wasm and FFmpeg. Licence text: GPL-2.0.
- The ffmpeg.wasm JavaScript library (@ffmpeg/ffmpeg 0.12.15) is licensed under the MIT licence.
Mediabunny
- Reads, encodes and writes video and audio in your browser for exports and conversions. Licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Source code: Mediabunny.
MediaPipe
- Finds the person in a frame for captions that sit behind them. Licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Source code: MediaPipe.
