Animated captions
Animated captions and subtitles that move on the word.
An animated caption only works if it moves when the word is said. A word that pops a beat late looks like a mistake, and a whole line that slides in at once is a subtitle with a transition, not an animation.
So the timing comes first. The speech model times every word separately, and every animation is driven from those times, which is what lets a highlight land on the syllable instead of somewhere near it.
What you get
Dozens of ways for a word to arrive
Pop, spring, bounce, rise, slide, zoom, swing, drop, stamp, typewriter and more, applied per word or per letter. Karaoke fills, highlighter sweeps and one-word-at-a-time beats come built into the styles.
Animated in Indian scripts too
Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali and the other scripts animate with their vowel signs attached, so a letter-by-letter reveal never splits a syllable into broken pieces.
Keywords that stand out
Mark the words that carry the point and the style gives them their own colour, size or motion, so the eye goes where the sentence is going.
How it works
- 01
Upload the clip
MP4 or MOV. Transcribe in its own script, romanised, or translated into English.
- 02
Pick a moving style
Browse 103 styles playing on your own clip, not a stock demo.
- 03
Tune the motion
Change the entrance, the highlight colour, how many words show at once, and which words to emphasise.
- 04
Export
The animation is rendered into an MP4 in your browser, ready for Reels or Shorts.
Questions
Can I export animated captions as an SRT file?
No. SRT and VTT files carry text and timings only, so any player that shows them draws plain subtitles. Animated captions have to be burned into the video, which is what the MP4 export does.
Are animated styles on the free plan?
Yes. The free plan has 32 styles, each moving word by word with its own entrance. The Dynamic templates, with their fuller layouts and motion, export on the Studio and Pro plans.
Will the animation be in time with my voice?
Each word is timed from the audio itself. If a word starts early or late (fast speech, music under the voice), drag it on the timeline and the animation follows.
